Senior Clinical Informatics Educator
Full Time, 80 Hours Per Pay Period, Day Shift

Position Summary:
Education is a critical component of Informatics and directly affects the success or failure of any new or modified IT driven solution. This position is responsible for teaching nurses, high and mid level providers, ancillary, and other healthcare professionals about the effective and ethical uses of information technology, as well as informatics concepts and theories that are essential for optimal use of informatics solutions in clinical practice. The Clinical Informatics Educator provides service and support across the health system directed by matrix leadership of the IT Clinical Applications Manager, Director of Clinical Education, and the CNO Education Leader.
Minimum Education
Masters Degree in education or related field, or (8) years experience equivalence in Informatics Education. Prefer Master’s degree in Nursing, Education, IT, Informatics or Board Certified in Informatics,
Minimum Experience
Ten (10) years clinical nursing experience. Prefer at least two (2) years of experience with PC, MS-Windows, and Covenant’s current clinical application.
Licensure Requirement
Nursing applicants must have a current RN license
