Position Summary:

Completes project work as assigned by a member of accounting staff to support objectives of the Health System.

• Coordinates/performs projects as assigned, providing progress reports as requested.
• Researches and analyzes accounting activities affecting Covenant Health operation, making recommendations as appropriate.
• Prepares reports, proposals, etc. as requested.
• Performs various account analysis as assigned.
• Participates in community relation activities to support Health System objectives.
• Attends meetings/seminars to gain and share information regarding health system accounting and fiscal operations.
• Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education:

Currently pursuing Undergraduate or Graduate degree in accounting or accounting related field.

Minimum Experience: 

Class work relating to internship duties in the accounting/healthcare field.  Some experience in a professional or healthcare setting beneficial.
