Position Summary:
The Clinical Research Support Assistant (CRSA) functions as direct support in clinical research performing tasks to assist lead researchers. The CRSA provides support to the lead researchers during clinical trials for new drugs, treatments, and medical devices. The CRSA assists in various aspects of the conduct of clinical research trials across multiple Covenant Health facilities. The CRSA is responsible for identifying subjects or clinical trials, collecting data, evaluating results, and taking notes on activities. The CRSA ensures that every clinical trial follows the standard operating procedures and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.

Minimum Education:
None specified; this is an internship for high school and college students 16 years of age or older who are enrolled in healthcare courses and intending to pursue a career in healthcare.
Minimum Experience:
Medical terminology a plus. Must be able to operate computer and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to read with comprehension, write legibly, and perform basic arithmetic computation. Must successfully complete CITI Training and Covenant Health’s orientation.
