Thompson Oncology Group (TOG) is a leader in medical oncology services and provides patients access to all proven, drug-based treatments and the latest clinical trial medicines. Our team of board-certified, fellowship-trained medical oncologists and certified advanced practice providers deliver on-site care and treatment, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy, at affiliated infusion centers throughout our region.
Position Summary:
Directs and coordinates the overall functions of a large multi-physician office, defined as seven or more providers (physician or mid-level), to ensure maximization of cash flow while improving patient, physician, and other customer relations.
The Thompson Oncology Clinic Manager III is responsible for performing a wide variety of operational responsibilities relative to personnel management, compliance, physician satisfaction, and performance improvement. Supports the Covenant Health mission and the Covenant Health System strategic plans. Provides a safe therapeutic environment for patients and team members. Demonstrates leadership traits and supports behavioral competencies. Manages non-clinical team members, including day-to-day supervision, employee relations, and staff development. Under the direction of executive leadership, works collaboratively with other leaders within Thompson Oncology to help grow and extend the oncology program. Communicates effectively with managers and team members regarding patient care and other program initiatives. Promotes collegial relationships with physicians, various departments, and the community to meet the identified needs of patients and the organization. Works closely with medical director to ensure operational efficiencies, excellent patient experience, and the highest standards of quality and patient safety.

Minimum Education:
High school diploma or equivalent, prefer Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
Minimum Experience:
Manager of at least a seven (7) providers (physician or mid-level) or has special certifications that can be utilized in other areas of the practice, including but not limited to, X-ray, Lab, Ortho and etc.
