Position Summary:
The Safety Program Officer directs and implements facility safety programs in accordance with state, federal, and regulatory standards for Leconte Medical Center and Morristown-Hamblen Hospital.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree required. An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and directly-applicable professional-level work experience may be accepted in lieu of the bachelor’s degree requirement.
Minimum Experience:
Must understand regulatory standards relating to health and environmental needs including all aspects of NFPA and the Life Safety Code. Excellent communication skills necessary to interact with all levels of hospital staff.
