Full time, 80 hours per pay period, Evening Shift
Shift is 7p to 7a rotating seven on and seven off. Will be required to rotate holidays with other CT staff.

The Radiology Department at LeConte Medical Center is high volume with full diagnostic imaging services. This department is staffed with multi-modality technologists and RNs who work as a team to provide excellent patient care. The imaging team, while fast-paced, works to create a positive, fun atmosphere for both patients and their staff.
Position Summary:
Perform complex tasks associated with the operation of high radiation producing equipment to produce high quality CT images. The CT technologist is responsible for maintaining a safe CT environment at all times.

Minimum Education:
None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.
Minimum Experience:
Must have successfully completed an educational program that is accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the ARRT. You will be required to assist with routine radiology exams as well.
Licensure Requirement:
Must have and maintain one of the following:
Path 1: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R) and within 1 year ARRT (CT) required.
Path 2: Nuclear Medicine Technology certification board certified (NMTCB) and within one year ARRT (CT) required.
Path 3: Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and within one year ARRT (CT) required.
