Medical Step Down:
We are a 26 bed unit- all private rooms, all medical step down. We provide an organized, professional and exciting working and learning environment. We care for almost all types of patients on this unit. We are the destination unit for any patient with an acute CVA, TIA, or seizure patient. But we also care for COPD, CHF, Pneumonia, GI Bleed, diabetes patients, and all other medical diagnosis. Some patients can have a chronic ventilator with a tracheostomy, high oxygen needs respiratory patients with BIPAP or vapotherm, some cardiac drips, blood transfusions for GI bleeds and more. Just lots to see and do. You will NEVER be bored. Together, the nurses, patient care assistants, health unit coordinators, educator and manager strive to provide exceptional care and service to all our patients and their families, but also each other. We are a family at work and away from work. This profession is so hard, we want to be your support team. All RN’s and Patient care assistants welcome, new grads to 20 years’ experience or more. Position Summary:This position is designed to provide supervisory leadership to staff level employees, coordinating such activities with the department’s Manager. The incumbent is expected to exercise independent judgement and discretion in performing the duties listed below.

Minimum Experience: Must possess at least one to three (1-3) years of professional experience
Licensure Requirement: Must have and maintain Tennessee State RN licensure. CPR required
