At Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center we strive to provide outstanding patient care during emergent situations.
The 'Observation Unit' is a new addition to the Fort Sanders family. It comprises of a fast past comprehensive clinical unit that will support all specialties. This 24 bed unit is critical to support patient flow and expedite care to our patients. The Observations Unit will be a driving force between ED/Inpatient care, therefore strong communication and collaboration will be a strong focus to drive the overall performance. Come be a part of this new journey, as we continue to expand this department. This unit is also a great stepping stone for nurses that want to eventually work in ICU or ER.
Position Summary:
Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines.

Minimum Education:
None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.
Minimum Experience:
New graduate, within first (1st) year of orientation (move to level II after one (1)Year experience). ED Experience preferred
Licensure Requirement:
Must have and maintain Tennessee State RN licensure. CPR required.
