At Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center we perform over 10,000 surgical procedures each year. The care a patient receives after surgery is just as important as the operation itself. For that reason, we send surgical patients to 3 North to receive exceptional care.

The Post-Surgical Unit (3 North) at Fort Sanders Regional is a 33 bed unit providing care for patients who have undergone general surgery and are recovering at our facility. We specialize in the treatment of the post-operative patient including those who have undergone colon re-sectioning, surgical oncology procedures on the neck, breast, and abdomen, vascular procedures and many more.

Our staff consists of RNs, LPNs, CNA/PCAs, and HUCs who work together to provide exceptional patient care. In addition to having excellent critical thinking skills, our ideal candidate will also possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

If you are passionate about putting patients first apply for our Post-Surgical unit today!
