IT Communications Support Analyst Sr.

Full-Time, 80 Hours per pay period, Day Shift

Position Summary:

Under direct supervision, responsible for monitoring, administering, and troubleshooting the telecommunications network and working with end users and other IT support groups to provide consistent, high quality voice communication.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors and troubleshoots all paging and cellular equipment as well order equipment as needed.
  • Prepares, maintains and reconciles all billing reports.
  • Updates internal online paging database and prepares corporate phone and voicemail directories.
  • Updates all employee information in internal database and produces a monthly Telecom invoice for all users.
  • Support day-to-day operation and maintenance of Telephone circuits, voicemail sub accounts, long distance access codes and local and long distance services.
  • Provides customer training of the telecommunications features and functionality.
  • Filters all tickets, work orders and requests and escalates all others as appropriate.
  • Assists staff and senior level employees with IT projects for facilities as requested.
  • Local travel required.
  • Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Minimum Education:   

None specified; will accept any combination of formal education and/or prior work experience sufficient to demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skill and ability needed to perform the essential tasks of the job, typically such as would be equivalent to a high school diploma or GED.  Preference may be given to individuals possessing an Associate’s degree in a directly-related field from an accredited college or university.

 

Minimum Experience: 

None specified; preference may be given to individuals with experience in communications administration. 

 

Licensure Requirement:   

Employee must have a valid Tennessee driver’s license Class D and state mandated minimum insurance coverage.  Driving record must meet Covenant Health minimum standards at the date of hire and throughout employment tenure.
