One of just 40 proton therapy facilities in the U.S., Thompson Proton Center is centrally located off Dowell Springs Blvd. in West Knoxville.
Position Summary:
Under the direct and indirect supervision of the Lead Therapist, the Medical Physicist, and the Radiation Oncologist, administers therapeutic radiation to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. To enhance departmental operations through positive relations with patients, patients family members and visitors, physician support and staff interaction. Use independent judgment to maintain continuity of patient care of the highest standards, in an efficient, caring manner.

Minimum Education: None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.
Minimum Experience: Entry Level
Licensure Requirement: Must have and maintain ARRT (T) within six (6) months post graduate program. CPR required.
