Full Time, 80 Hours Per Pay Period, Day Shift

As the ONLY proton therapy center in our region, we’re proud to offer the latest technology and treatment methods to patients across East Tennessee and beyond. One of just 40 proton therapy facilities in the U.S., Thompson Proton Center is centrally located off Dowell Springs Blvd. in West Knoxville.
Position Summary:
Provides professional clinical care to patients receiving treatments and examination in an outpatient clinical setting under the supervision of the attending provider and practice office manager.

Minimum Education:
None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.
Minimum Experience:
Must be sufficient to meet the standard for achievement of the below indicated certification as required by the issuing authority.
Licensure Requirement:
Must be certified as a Medical Assistant from a recognized certifying organization. American Heart Association BLS required.
