Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Center (PNRC) is an Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital within Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center (FSRMC). PNRC is a 73 bed unit composed of a 26 bed Traumatic Brain Injury and Spinal Cord injury unit, a 22 semi-private bed Stroke, Orthopedic and Neuro unit, and a therapeutic one bedroom apartment. PNRC is the largest inpatient rehabilitation center in the area and cares for patients from pediatrics through geriatrics.
PNRC provides rehabilitation care to patients through general medical-surgical care, wound care, tracheostomy care, and restorative functional education. We also have full access to all specialty physicians located within FSRMC. In the world of healthcare, awards are often affirmations of quality and excellence. Our nursing support staff consists of RNs, LPNs, CNA/PCAs, and HUCs who work together to provide exceptional patient care. Our environment is fast paced with an average patient-nurse ratio of 7:1. We work as a full interdisciplinary team with the physiatrist, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapist, recreational therapist, behavioral medicine and case management.

Position Summary: This position is designed to provide supervisory leadership to staff level employees, coordinating such activities with the department’s Manager. The incumbent is expected to exercise independent judgement and discretion in performing the duties listed below.
Minimum Education: None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.
Minimum Experience: Must possess at least one to three (1-3) years of professional experience.
Licensure Requirement: Must have and maintain Tennessee State nursing licensure. CPR required.
