RN on Med Surg Unit

Full time, day shift, 72 hours per pay period

The Medical Surgical Unit is a 46-bed telemetry equipped unit. The department services step down critical care, general medical, and surgical patients. Our staffing mix includes RNs, LPNs, CNAs and HUCs. Our multi-disciplinary team of doctors, nurses, therapists, nutritionists, case managers and direct care staff meet daily to discuss patient`s conditions and progress toward their discharge plan. We serve a rapidly growing community with a wide age range. Our staff involves family in the care of the patient through participation and education of the patient`s medical condition. FLMC is committed to providing excellent patient care and an exceptional practice environment for our staff. 

Telemetry experience preferred. ACLS to be obtained in first year of employment, valid TN Nursing License, rotating weekends and holidays. Excellent customer service skills required.

Yearly infection control, fire, safety, and CPR in-services are required. BLS, rotating weekends and holidays.

At least one year professional RN experience preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply!
