Sr. Facility Service Technician/Maintenance Technician

Facility: Fortress (located in West Knoxville)

Department: Plant Engineering

Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift, 80 hours a pay period

Performs or directs general, routine, and highly technical maintenance, construction and repair activities. Work includes responsibility for generalized knowledge in a broad area of crafts, with at least a journey level knowledge and skills in the specialty area.

Minimum Education:  None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.

Minimum Experience:  Two (2) years of experience performing maintenance, construction, or repair activities required.

Licensure Requirement:  HVAC requires current EPA universal technician’s license. Must have a valid Tennessee driver’s license Class D and state mandated minimum insurance coverage. Driving record must meet Covenant Health minimum standards at the date of hire and throughout employment tenure.
