Registered Nurse, Post Intervention Unit
PRN Day Shift
The Cardiac Specialty Unit (aka: Post Intevention Unit) consists of 33 telemetry beds. This unit treats patients presenting chest pain or unstable angina, as well as those recovering from placement of cardiac stents, permanent pacemakers, or AICDs. The top three admitting diagnoses are coronary atherosclerosis, chest pain, and intermediate coronary syndrome. We have long term staff members because of our culture and teamwork on our floor. The physicians see this as well and trust the judgment of our team.
Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.
Minimum Experience: New graduate, within first (1st) year of orientation (move to level II after one (1) Year experience).
Must have and maintain Tennessee State RN licensure. CPR required.
