Functions as a direct patient caregiver performing tasks to assist registered nurses. Performs hands-on care, assistance with ADL?s and specified technical tasks for a group of patients under the supervision of the Team Leader. C.N.A.?s are not allowed, by practice standards, to perform any invasive procedure or any application of topical medications.
Nursing Home/Long Term Care experience preferred. Medical terminology a plus. Must be able to operate computer and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of a course of study that provides basic nursing skills and the advanced skills required. Licensure Requirements: Certification as a C.N.A., CPR is required. Physical Requirements: Type F
