Patient Experience Advisor
Full Time, 80 Hours Per Pay Period, Day Shift

Fort Sanders is a regional referral center, where other hospitals send their most difficult cases. This designation allows us the opportunity to bring the newest technologies and services to patients from all over East Tennessee and surrounding states. For example, our Neuro/Spine Center of Excellence features a Joint Commission certified Stroke Center, CARF accredited inpatient rehabilitation, and a host of diagnostic and treatment options for patients who have had or are having a stroke.
Position Summary: The Patient Experience Advisor is responsible for maintaining processes and systems to drive excellence in delivery of quality, patient-centered care and overall patent/customer satisfaction. In this role, the employee engages with patients, visitors, staff, physicians and leadership. Through this they support leadership to ensure facility-wide engagement and adherence to all expectations to achieve increased outcomes on patient-centered care throughout the facility. This position supports the strategic initiatives related to patient satisfaction/customer service under the direct supervision of the Facility CAO with a dotted line to the Patient Experience Coach.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Health Administration, Social Science, Organizational Development, Business Management, or related field, required. Master’s Degree preferred.
Minimum Experience: Three plus (3+) years demonstrated customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
