Critical Care RN Float Pool
Facility: Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, TN
Shift: Per Diem/PRN, Night Shift, 7 pm – 7 am
At Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, we understand that patients in our Critical Care area need specialized care – not only because they are very sick, but because their medical needs are unique. In Spring 2021, the Critical Care Department at Fort Sanders Regional will be expanding! As part of this, we will have separate Intensive Care Units – each designed to provide experienced nursing and support staff for our patients' needs.
Our Critical Care consists of 3 separate units:

You will perform a variety of tasks as a Float Pool RN. Because our RNs move from unit to unit, it is important that our staff have a positive patient-centered attitude, can be flexible, and take initiative to deliver exceptional care. In addition to having excellent critical thinking skills, our ideal candidate will also possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Our float pool exists to help out every unit throughout our facility during times of ever-changing patient census and staffing needs. We require at least one year of recent Critical Care RN experience as a requirement to join our critical care float pool. As an incentive for the flexible nature of our positions, we offer an additional shift differential to all float pool employees.
