    Student Nurse Associate- Float Pool

    OCC/PRN, Variable Shifts.

Our Orthopedic-Spine unit (5 Riverstone) is a rapid paced, 44-bed post-surgical unit with both a Joint Center of Excellence and a Spine Center of Excellence. We will be moving to two 36 bed units.  Our population consists of orthopedic and spine surgery patients. SNA's on our orthopedic-spine unit are members of an integral team of health professionals (physicians, RNs, LPNs, SNAs, CNAs, HUCs, PTs and OTs) that provide the most comprehensive care to its clients and their families. 

     

    Position Summary: Performs a wide variety of patient care activities and supportive services under the supervision of a registered nurse.

     

    Minimum Education: Student in an accredited nursing education program. Student must have junior or senior year status and must have successfully completed fundamental clinical skills portion of the program or must complete the program within the same semester of hiring into the position. (1st semester of clinicals)

     

    Minimum Experience: None

     

    Licensure Requirement: CPR required
