Mammography Tech - Certified

Performs mammographic procedures by applying proper ionizing radiation coupled with accurate positioning, compression, and processing techniques to obtain high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by radiologist.
Minimum of two (2) years diagnostic imaging experience required, including experience and training in mammography, breast anatomy and physiology, positioning and compression, quality assurance/quality control techniques, and imaging of patients with breast implants.
Completion of an American College of Radiology (ACR) accredited program in radiographic technology. Licensure Requirements: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification with post-primary certification in Mammography (M). State licensure in accordance wtih Tennessee guidelines.
