    Full Time, 80 hours per pay period. Day Shift.

     

    Position Summary: Job duties of this position include collection, analysis and preparation of financial data required by various governmental agencies.  The analyst is responsible for filing data with the appropriate agency, supporting the work through audit and completing the final settlement. Through the course of these duties, analyst can expect to encounter data and situations that require examination and analysis unique to the various hospitals within the Covenant Health system.  As well, the position requires communication with individuals within Covenant as well as with representatives of the governing agencies and with third parties used to support and assist with reporting. 

     

    Candidates must have excellent communication skills, a high level of organization, and be able to manage multiple projects and flexible/changing deadlines.  To be successful, the candidates must take a team approach to work preparation; communicating, discussing and inquiring on a daily basis.  In-depth experience with spreadsheets, the ability to perform research and complex analysis, and develop or retain the ability to read and understand healthcare law and regulations and their applicability to our hospitals will be preferred.

     

    Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Business or Finance or Associate Degree with at least four (4) years accounting experience. Knowledge of reimbursement and/or tax a plus.

     

    Minimum Experience: Must demonstrate solid communication skills and ability to operate within a team framework. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
