Clinical Nurse II, Orthopedic Med Surgery
Full-Time, 72 Hours per pay period, Shift: Nights

Our Orthopedic-Spine unit (5 Riverstone) is a rapid paced, 44-bed post-surgical unit with both a Joint Center of Excellence and a Spine Center of Excellence. We will be moving to two 36 bed units. Our population consists of orthopedic and spine surgery patients. Nurses on our orthopedic-spine unit are members of an integral team of health professionals (physicians, RNs, LPNs, SNAs, CNAs, HUCs, PTs and OTs) that provide the most comprehensive care to its clients and their families.
The RN will provide direct patient care, along with planning and implementation of the nursing process, in accordance with individualized care plans (nursing and medical), physician orders and facility policies and procedures. The RN must also be able to provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit while planning coordinated care within an interdisciplinary team.
Minimum Experience Must possess at least one (1) year of professional nursing experience.
Continuing Education Sixteen (16) contact hours required annually (8 to enhance clinical experience or twelve (12) contact hours required annually, plus ACLS or approved specialty certifications.
Licensure Requirement Valid Tennessee RN license. Fire/security, infection control, and CPR inservices are required.
