RN Special Projects Coordinator - Nursing Administration
Full Time, 80 Hours Per Pay Period, Day Shift
Position Summary: This opening is for Fort Sanders Regional's Joint/ Spine Coordinator.
Responsible for creating and maintaining policies & procedures, development and monitoring of patient quality/safety processes resulting in overall quality of nursing care provided by the nursing staff. Works autonomously and confidentially. Advanced computer skills are a necessity. Responsible for identifying staff needs and foster the concept of patient centered care along with Managers and Educators.
Minimum Education: Associate degree in nursing and license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority. BSN strongly preferred.
Minimum Experience: Five (5) years experience in nursing. Specialized training in orthopedics/joint replacement/spinal care performance improvement, and/or regulatory compliance preferred.
Licensure Requirement: Must have current Tennessee RN license.
