Health Unit Coordinator, Unit F-Fresh Start

Position Summary: Assists Nursing and Clinical Staff by performing secretarial and unit management duties. Maintains patient records, keeping them and their filing current and in good presentation.
Minimum Education: Will accept any combination of formal education and/or prior work experience sufficient to demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skill and ability needed to perform the essential tasks of the job. Preference may be given to individuals possessing a HS diploma or GED.
Minimum Experience: Prior healthcare experience preferred. Completion of Health Unit Coordinator Curriculum within two weeks of hire required. CPOE training and on-the-job training with an experienced HUC preferred.

Minimum Education: High school graduate preferably with a background and/or courses focused on secretarial skills.
