    Nursing and Patient Experience Leader-Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System


    We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated nursing leader. Our Chief Nursing Officer leads nursing strategy, patient experience, and clinical practice for Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. Morristown-Hamblen Health System is a 167 bed hospital serving an eight-county region in the Lakeway Area, equipped with modern technologies and expert staff to provide the best possible patient care.


    The CNO incumbent for Morristown-Hamblen will be a key member of our senior leadership team and will work closely with the Chief Administrative Officer of the facility as well as the System CNO. Our Chief Nursing officers are accountable for the provision and quality of all nursing services at a facility level in support of Covenant Health’s System and our regional goals. This includes strategically ensuring a balance of optimal and efficient patient care; staff, patient, and physician satisfaction; and cooperative partnerships with other organizational departments and professional groups.


    The CNO has a constant focus on patient-centeredness, excellence in all we do, ensure we are the best choice for our patients, employees, physicians and volunteers. The CNO creates and maintains standards and systems for care delivery at the facility which promotes evidence-based practice and are designed to support the management of productivity targets, and appropriate planning for and use of available resources as well as staff and patient safety.


    Minimum Education:    

    Master’s Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Management, or equivalent in educational experience required.  Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.


    Minimum Experience:  

    Five (5) years of experience in patient care services to include healthcare leadership positions; experience in financial analysis of revenue generating clinical departments.


    Licensure Requirement: Hold current license in the State of TN as a Registered Nurse.
