    Sr Application Analyst- Cerner SurgiNet Application

     

    Full time; Day shift

     

    This position is for our Perioperative team and will support our users in the perioperative space across our hospital facilities that are live on the Cerner EMR. Work experience in a surgery setting and experience with the Cerner application (especially in an immediate clinical user support role) is preferred. On-call support is required. Under general direction, candidate would be responsible for defining, implementing, and supporting the Cerner application and relevant bolt-on or integrated solutions, as well as interfacing with end-users and other IT groups to identify and resolve application issues.

     

    Cerner experience with Workflow creation and edits; DTA management; Event Set Hierarchy; PowerChart, PowerOrders, and PowerForms build and maintenance; Iview; Mpages; and CareAware BMDI, each a plus.

     

     

    Minimum Education: AS in computer-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience 

     

    Minimum Experience: Minimum of six (6) years Information Systems or relevant functional area. Requires demonstrated deep understanding of technical computer operations in a client/server environment (for assigned applications).  Two (2) years of IT project management experience.

    Experience as a Clinical Application Analyst with Cerner's EHR a plus. 

     

     

    Licensure Requirement: Professional/clinical licensure (RN, ARRT, etc.) may be required based on assigned applications.

    Clinical Licensure and Surgical experience preferred
