PRN / OCC
Position Summary: Performs a full range of secretarial and administrative duties for a specific department or unit. Requires clerical training or experience and some knowledge of the unit's operational procedures. Will be responsible for communicating with physician offices regarding surgery scheduling. May perform departmental support functions such as data entry into information systems or other duties similar in nature.
Minimum Education: None specified; will accept any combination of formal education and/or prior work experience sufficient to demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skill and ability needed to perform the essential tasks of the job, typically such as would be equivalent to a high school diploma or GED. Preference may be given to individuals possessing a HS diploma or GED.
Minimum Experience: One (1) to two (2) years clerical/administrative experience. Experience using word processing (MS Word), spreadsheet (Excel) and presentation (PowerPoint) software.
