PRN (per required need); 48 hours per pay period; to cover all shifts as needed
Provides care to patients with respiratory insufficiency and related complications. Functions as part of the direct patient car team to provide overall quality care and serves as a resource and specialist to patients, all patient care givers and physicians.
Minimum Education: Completion of a JRCTE approved school of respiratory care.
Licensure Requirements: CRT credential administered by the National Board for Respiratory Care required. Must be certified as a Respiratory Care Technician by the State of Tennessee Health Related Boards and have ABG endorsement. CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
