    Sr Application Analyst, Behavioral Health

     

    Full time; Day shift

     

    Position Summary:

    This position is for application support for our Behavioral Health Facility, Outpatient Clinics and hospital facilities with existing Senior Behavioral Health Units, all live on the Cerner EMR. Work experience in a Behavioral Health hospital/clinical setting and familiarity with the Cerner application (especially in an immediate clinical user support role) is preferred. On-call support is required. Under general direction, candidate would be responsible for defining, implementing, updating, maintaining and supporting the Cerner application and relevant bolt-on solutions, as well as interfacing with end-users and other IT groups to identify and resolve application issues. 

     

    Cerner experience with Workflow creation and edits; DTA management; Event Set Hierarchy; PowerChart, PowerOrders, and PowerForms build and maintenance; Iview; Mpages; and CareAware BMDI, each a plus.

     

     

    Minimum Education: AS in computer-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience 

     

    Minimum Experience: Minimum of six (6) years Information Systems or relevant functional area. Requires demonstrated deep understanding of technical computer operations in a client/server environment (for assigned applications).  Two (2) years of IT project management experience.

    Experience as a Clinical Application Analyst with Cerner's EHR a plus. 

     

     

    Licensure Requirement: Professional/clinical licensure (RN, ARRT, etc.) may be required based on assigned applications.

    Active clinical licensure is a plus.
