The Emergency Medical Technician, (EMT) is a public safety professional that responds to medical emergencies in pre-hospital settings. Upon arrival, the EMT performs triage, initial survey, provides emergency care through careful assessment of the patient and recognizes injuries and illnesses.
Render necessary emergency care through supportive assistance for conditions requiring transport for definitive medical care including medical emergencies, behavioral emergencies, illness, disease or infirmity.
Current TN license as required to preform the duties of an EMT in the State of Tennessee. Must have an F endorsement on TN Drivers License. Must have current CPR Certification. Physical Requirements: Type G
