Polysomnographer Reg, Sleep Disorder Center
Full Time, 80 hours per pay period, Nights - Off holidays and weekends. The occasional day study is ordered.
Position Summary: Qualified to serve as chief technologist; supervise, plan, and develop training activities; serve as in-service training instructor; assist medical director and physicians with development of test protocols, programs, and procedures; works without direct supervision. Will maintain Registration by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) and Licensure by the State of Tennessee.
Minimum Education: None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.
Minimum experience: A minimum of eighteen (18) months experience is required
Licensure Requirement: Current CPR Certification; Registration by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) and licensed by the State of Tennessee as a Polysomnographic Technologists as per TCA 63-31-106
