    Reporting to the Corporate Director of Engineering, this position is responsible for assuring that public transportation on the campus of all Covenant Health facilities is organized for maximum productivity and efficiency.  Manage parking programs for patients, physician, visitors, employees and students.  Responsible for working with Administration on each campus to keep policies and procedures for campus parking up to date.  Maintain a database of all Covenant Health vehicles and oversee the scheduled preventive maintenance, repairs and registration of all vehicles. Supervises/manages any campus facility’s shuttle service and valet parking, serves as liaison for facility fleet/transportation services, and assists both the Engineering and Safety Departments with customer (visitor, patient and employee) communications. Assigns, directs and reviews the work of Shuttle Ambassadors, assures adequate employee staffing, supervision and coordination of timekeeping system, unit budgetary preparation, performance metric reporting, and employee human resources issues as assigned. 


    Minimum Education             Associate degree from an accredited college or university


    Minimum Experience            One (1) year of directly-related experience required.


    Licensure Requirement:      Employee must have a valid Tennessee driver’s license Class D with an “F” endorsement for up to 14 passenger vehicles, OR a Class “A”, “B”, or “C” with “P” endorsement for 15 passenger vehicles, depending on the driving needs of the facility.  Employee must have state mandated minimum insurance coverage.  Driving record must meet Covenant Health minimum standards at the date of hire and throughout employment tenure.
