    Full Time, 80 hour per pay period, Day Shift (7:30AM-4PM M-F)


    Position Summary: Responsible for daily operations of Plant Engineering at designated facility. Responsible for overseeing routine and preventative maintenance of all mechanical, electrical and general maintenance equipment. 


    1. Coordinates daily activities of Plant Engineering personnel.
    2. Coordinates daily utilization of building automation systems and related equipment.
    3. Responsible for maintaining all required regulatory documentation and participating in document reviews.
    4. Responsible for maintaining all testing and inspection documentation and participating in document reviews.
    5. Responsible for scheduling all Plant Engineering personnel.
    6. Assists in selection and hiring of all Plant Engineering personnel.
    7. Completes annual performance evaluations for designated technicians.
    8. Assists Multi-Site Facility Manager in management of FTE’s and budget.
    9. Provides technical support and hands on assistance for technical and critical tasks.
    10. Maintains proper working environment, insures that quality work is being performed by all personnel.
    11. Assists in all areas of maintenance as needed.
    12. Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in related fields.
    13. Local travel required.
    14. Perform other duties as assigned or requested.


    Minimum Education: None specified; will accept any combination of formal education and/or prior work experience sufficient to demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skill and ability needed to perform the essential tasks of the job, typically such as would be equivalent to a high school diploma or GED. Preference may be given to individuals graduating from a trade or vocational school.


    Minimum Experience: Five (5) years management in healthcare plant operations. Experienced and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel. Excellent organizational skills required. Experience with capital and operational budget planning as well as construction project planning and management.


    Licensure Requirement: Employee must have a valid Tennessee driver’s license Class D and state mandated
    Insurance coverage. Driving record must meet Covenant Health minimum
    standards at the date of hire and throughout employment tenure.
