Certified Mammography Tech
PRN - Per required need - 12 - 56 hours per bi-weekly pay period.
Performs mammographic procedures by applying proper ionizing radiation coupled with accurate positioning, compression, and processing techniques to obtain high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by radiologist.
Minimum Education: Completion of an American College of Radiology (ACR) accredited program in radiographic technology.
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years diagnostic imaging experience required, including experience and training in mammography, breast anatomy and physiology, positioning and compression, quality assurance/quality control techniques, and imaging of patients with breast implants
Licensure Requirements: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification with post-primary certification in Mammography (M)
