    Clinical Nurse III, Critical Care Unit

    Full-Time, 72 hours per pay period, Nights

    Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System serves an eight-county region in the Lakeway Area and is equipped with modern technologies and expert staff to provide the best possible patient care. We continue to grow services, attract new physicians, and add advanced technology, while offering the right blends of technical expertise, medical professionalism, quality and patient satisfaction.

     

    Our Critical Care unit is 12 beds and has 1 shift leader for each rotation. Our nurses work 12-hour shifts (7a-7p, or vice versa, and at least 1 weekend a month). It is a very team-oriented unit that always puts the patient first!

     

     

    Position Overview: Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines.

     

     

    Minimum Education: None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.

     

    Minimum Experience:  Minimum of three (3) years professional experience.

     

    Continuing Education:  Twenty (20) hours required annually (10 to enhance clinical expertise); or Fifteen (15) hours required annually, plus ACLS certification; or Ten (10) hours required annually, plus specialty certification; or Ten (10) hours required annually, plus ACLS instructor.

     

    Licensure Requirement:  Valid Tennessee RN License. Yearly infection control, fire, safety and CPR inservices are required

     

    Physical Requirements:  Type A
