    Registered Nurse - Hospice Care, Covenant Homecare
    Full-time, 80 hours per pay period, Evenings - Monday through Friday, 3:30 pm - 11:30 pm with no call rotation or case management. Float and Shift differential pay offered!

    Serving Residents in 17 counties, Covenant Homecare offers a range of services for transitional and continued care including skilled nursing, certified nursing assistants, rehabilitation services, medical social services, hospice and end of life care. Specialty services include programs for congestive heart failure, COPD, diabetes management, infusion therapy, joint replacement, stroke rehabilitation, and wound care. We serve residents in Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Claiborne, Cocke, Cumberland, Grainger, Hamblen, Jefferson, Know, Loudon, Monroe, Morgan, Roane, Scott, Sevier, and Union counties. 


    This position focuses primarily on "as-needed" visits, new patient evaluation and symptom control.

    Position Summary: Provides professional nursing care to an assigned group of homebound patients; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. The RN-Home Health reports to the assigned Nursing Clinical Supervisor. Position requires ability to work with autonomy. The employee will work within assigned zone (North, South, East or West).

    Minimum Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.


    Minimum Experience: Three (3) years of professional experience in hospital or prior home health experience preferred but (1) year required. 


    Licensure Requirement: Current RN license in State of Tennessee; CPR certification. Employee must have a valid Tennessee driver’s license Class D and state mandated minimum insurance coverage.  Driving record must meet Covenant Health minimum standards at the date of hire and throughout employment tenure.
