    Position Summary:

     

    Under general direction, responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned programming projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Ensures that technical and functional aspects of applications are operating correctly and available for all users. 

     

    Analyst must actively participate in outstanding customer service and accept responsibility for maintaining relationships with all stakeholders involved in support activities. RDBMS skills a must. Positive, team oriented attitude. High energy and strong work habits.

    Programmer Analyst must utilize Cerner tools; CCL, Discern Analytics 2 and PowerInsight BO to provide information from Cerner Millennium in the areas of Quality & Regulatory.
    Work with Business Users to understand requirements. Maintain expertise in Cerner tools and Millennium data models. Experienced with CCL, Discern Analytic 2 and PowerInsight BO.

     

    Must be willing to participate in on-call after hours rotation (includes weekends and holidays).

     

    Qualifications

     

    Minimum Education:                                   

    BS in information systems, computer science or a related field or equivalent work experience in functional area with training/emphasis on programming. 

                                        

    Minimum Experience:                     

    Minimum of six (6) years of related work experience required; experience in healthcare environment preferred.  Has solid understanding for business or function for which application is designed.  Able to work under general direction.  Has IT project management experience.
