Part-Time, Day Shift
This position will oversee and coordinate all activities related to the Breast Clinic Program. The Coordinator will work closely with physicians and medical offices and assist with all details related to program implementation. The Coordinator will also serve as a liaison between Breast Clinic physicians, patients, insurers, Covenant facilities, and Cancer Center, thereby enhancing the value and utilization of our cancer center. Through the efforts of the Patient Coordinator, referring physicians and patients will have expedited access to Covenant oncology, surgical, and breast services. Additionally, the Coordinator will manage communications with clinical services and personnel at Breast Clinic for the benefit of Covenant patients and physicians who are participating in the Breast Program.
Minimum Education: None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.
Minimum Experience: Five (5) years experience in oncology, prefer significant experience in direct patient care, as well as extensive involvement with physicians.
License Requirements: Current Tennessee RN license and/or certification.
