Cardiovascular Tech II (Non-Invasive)
PRN, Day Shift
In addition to the position accountabilities of Cardiovascular Tech I, must be able to visually scan Holter Monitor recordings for cardiac arrhythmias. Prepare reports for physician interpretation. Serves as resource to floor EKG technician and other care givers.
Minimum Education: None specified; will accept any combination of formal education and/or prior work experience sufficient to demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skill and ability needed to perform the essential tasks of the job, typically such as would be equivalent to a high school diploma or GED. Preference may be given to individuals possessing a HS diploma or GED.
Minimum Experience: Two (2) years experience in non-invasive testing required. Must have the following: successful completion of an approved arrhythmia recognition course; proficient in GXT and Holter testing, to include hook-up and scanning; demonstrates proficiency by passing written and/or practical evaluation of skills.
Licensure Requirement: Must be certified in CPR.
