Performs a variety of routine duties related to the preparation and serving of food; cleans kitchen area and cooking utensils in areas of Patient Services & Retail Operations. May perform duties to include responsibilities operating AYR (At Your Request) Menu System.
Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program and safety standards. Performs ware washing duties according to established procedures ensuring quality service is provided.
Prepares patient tray line for meal service periods and dispenses food for patient meal service. Prepares Retail Areas for all meal service.
Maintains assigned areas in a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
Operates and maintains departmental equipment in a safe, orderly, and efficient manner.
Communicates effectively with other in the department.
Performs other duties as requested or required.
Education: High School Diploma or GED. Must have basic math, reading and writing skills.
